We are a small Bavarian engineering company building developer infrastructure for an AI-native software industry. SIMOSphere AI is our flagship product: an OpenAI-compatible inference API that runs entirely inside the European Union.
Mission
European software teams should not have to choose between modern AI capabilities and the legal certainty of GDPR-conformant data processing. SIMOSphere AI exists to remove that trade-off. We operate the inference layer, sign the AVV, and write the audit log — so our customers can ship features instead of managing GPU contracts and contractual reviews.

How we work
We run a tight engineering team out of Aschaffenburg, complemented by external consultants for compliance audits, legal reviews, and go-to-market support. Every code change touches a CI pipeline that enforces type checks, unit tests, and SIMO corporate-identity conventions before merge.
Open source matters: the underlying inference stack runs vLLM, the API surface mirrors a public specification (OpenAI), and our SDK integrations target the official upstream clients so customers retain the right to leave. SIMOSphere code is available under the Business Source License 1.1, which converts to Apache 2.0 after four years.
